Shayan is a guitarist, songwriter, producer and recording artist based in Los Angeles. He started his career as a self-taught musician in his teenage years within the Tehran underground music scene playing guitar, writing songs, producing and performing with various artists. He later moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music and continue his career.
While attending Berklee in Boston, he has cultivated his skills as a producer and guitar player and has performed various live shows in the Boston area, including at Harvard University, Berklee Performance Center, and WMFO Radio 98.5 FM. He currently releases his music as Shayan Kay and works as a producer, songwriter and session instrumentalist with multiple artists in the LA area and across the world.
As a music teacher, he personalizes his lessons to the goals and needs of his students and strives to nurture his students in becoming the best version of themselves as musicians. His curriculum centers on creating an engaging experience where students learn the music they love.
