Darren Rubin is a musician and songwriter born and raised in Los Angeles. He graduated from Tufts University in 2020 with a degree in Child Development and a minor in Music. As an adolescent, Darren first learned the piano on his own using online resources and soon began writing and performing original songs. He formed the indie-rock band Mild Child in 2022 where he sings, writes and plays guitar and synths.
Darren’s passion for teaching children flourished while studying at Tufts University, but has since manifested in many different ways, whether as a pre-school teacher, camp counselor, or private music instructor.
