Tyler / piano

Tyler Kielb has been a practicing musician, composer and teacher for over 10 years. He works in an eclectic range of styles and influences, from classical, jazz and blues to progressive rock, new age, and world music. Tyler holds dual Master of Arts and Master of Music in Piano Performance degrees from Truman State University and California State University Fullerton, with research emphases in performance psychology and music theory. He was the recipient of the 2020 Niccum Scholarship for New Music, and has performed with groups like Brightwork Newmusic, The Stagecoach Players Theatre, and Geneva Swedish Days Music Festival. Tyler has also collaborated as a composer and arranger on a variety of projects, including materials for the School of Rock iOS app and custom games, activities and exercises to help students practice “smarter, not harder!”
