Sara Sinclair Gomez is a Los Angeles based classically trained mezzo-soprano and multidisciplinary performance artist who specializes in teaching voice, piano, and early childhood music. Born and raised in LA, Sara has been an active member of the local artist community her entire life and is thrilled to be sharing her knowledge of music by means of creative teaching and performance coaching. With a background in art, movement and theatre, Sara emphasizes the visual and physical nature of performance. Her experience ranges from classical/contemporary musical theatre, experimental opera, jazz, pop, choral, and even playing keyboard on US and European tours with indie rock bands. Sara has been a featured soloist at numerous venues including SFMOMA, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, REDCAT, Zipper Hall, The Troubadour, The Machine Project, The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, 365 Mission, and The Wallis Annenberg Center. Sara is a certified Kodály Method teacher and holds an MFA in Vocal Performance from California Institute of the Arts.
