Kay / piano

A recent graduate of UCLA’s musical theater program, Kay is an actor and musician based in Los Angeles. With 5 years of private music teaching experience in piano, guitar, singing, and acting under her belt; she loves introducing music to young people. She draws from her diverse experiences with a cappella, musical theater, pop performance, classical piano, and experimental choral music to find what sparks joy in her students.

From a young age, Kay explored her musicianship through her children’s choir, music theory training, piano lessons, and her own pop covers that she’d post on soundcloud. Since then, Kay has been seen dancing in original music videos, releasing her own music, performing on The Late Late Show with James Corden, arranging with her band No Spare Change on social media, and music directing her a cappella group to a third place win at the International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella in 2022. You may have also seen her as “Juliet” in the world premiere of Pat Benetar’s musical “Invincible” at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, or as “Miranda” in Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles’ “The Tempest: An Immersive Experience.”
