Emilio Cuenca’s teaching method has evolved throughout his 8 years of teaching experience into an all-inclusive approach, which he tailors to every student’s needs. He believes in the well-rounded musician and includes theory, harmony, solfeggio and ear-training, along with performance practice. He equips his students with the skills necessary to play genres from Baroque to Pop to Salsa, to sight-read for their personal enjoyment and to play with others. His goal is to enable his students to fulfill their own musical aspirations.
Emilio was raised in Southern California and has studied piano in Italy, Spain, Mexico and in both coasts of the U.S. He enjoys cooking, playing “air instruments” while listening to old classical records and is an avid lap swimmer.
